On November 21, 2021, Mr. Xanana Gusmao former President and Prime Minister of Timor-Leste received an Award and Certificate of Acknowledgment by Dardania College
On behalf of Dardania College, PhD. C. Ms. Arbenita Sopaj presented an Award and Certificate of Acknowledgment to the former President and Prime Minister of Timor-Leste Mr. Xanana Gusmao, in Tokyo, Japan. Ms. Sopaj has thanked H.E. Kay Rala Xanana Gusmao for his outstanding contribution to the online conference “Peacekeeping and Reconciliation: Applying the Lessons of Timor-Leste” and we are looking forward to welcoming him in person.
H.E. Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão expressed his appreciation to the Dardania College and his willingness to continue to share his experience and promote the dialogue as means for resolving conflict.
The conference, which was held on June 21, 2021, brought together international and local panelists, scholars and politicians, to debate regarding the similarities and differences between Kosovo and Timor-Leste case.
Dardania College, as a higher education institution, has always shown dedication and continues its commitment towards inter-university and interstate cooperation by organizing scientific conferences with local and international panelists.
